I'm Suraj, I had build my first in 2020. In this article, I'm going to share my experience and mistake which I wish you should not repeat. First, we will start with the steps of building a PC:

1. Parts/Component selection

2. Finding a retailer which will give you a good discout and genuine product

3. Building Our First PC

4. Installing OS

Parts/Component selection

Knowing your need and a budget which will also be criteria for selecting parts. So, let's see what we will need to build our PC:

1. Motherboard(carefully see which brand processor it supports before buying)

2. Processor(Select one AMD or Intel)

3. RAM(I suggest min. 8GB)

4. Power Supply(I suggest rated one like bronze, silver and gold)

5. Graphic Card(if you want to play games or do heavy tasks like graphic designing, deep learning, game building and modelling)

6. HDD or SSD or Both(for storage SSD is faster)

7. Cabinet(A-frame to put all your part)

8. Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse.

Remember, If you're sure you want to put a graphic card then only choose the intel processor series ending with ' f ' as they Require discrete graphics. AMD processor comes with integrated graphics which is capable of gaming without a graphics card. Intel's processors are not much capable of gaming with its integrated graphics. Make sure to take DDR4 RAM. I don't recommend buying an expensive cabinet, just make sure you take a cabinet with good airflow.

Finding a retailer

Buying parts from a retailer which you trust you can ask your friends and family if they have a trusted computer parts retailer contact because you're putting your money for at least 2-4 years into this. Being able to claim a warranty easily when something goes bad with your PC part is a must.

If you thinking of buying parts online don't do it. I am telling you this because I have done this mistake. I got a graphic card without a serial number and there was no return or replacement option on the site. if you still want to buy online there is a website I have heard of mdcomputers it is quite known I haven't bought anything from it. So, research before buying.

Building Our First PC

Before unpacking remember to not throw the manual as it is important while building it has all wire connections information. if you have the motherboard's manual that's all you need to build your PC. put the processor and ram on the motherboard and then screw the motherboard inside the cabinet now start plugging power supply wires Just match the socket on the motherboard with the power supply wires using motherboard's manual. connect the storage device(HDD or SSD) with a power supply wire and a SATA cable to the motherboard. put the graphic card on its socket on the motherboard. That's all hardware is set now just connect the monitor, mouse and keyboard. let's jump to installing OS(operating system).

Installing OS

For OS you will need an 8 Gb pendrive and a friend with a computer/laptop with internet. After arranging above mentioned items first download the iso file of any OS(Operating System) you want to install and also download Rufus for creating a bootable drive. After creating a bootable drive insert it in your system and boot then just hit next until it's over that's it you are ready to go.
